Love is God's greatest gift to us and we should always try to show love to each other,the bible has two golden laws

Love conquers all,its only by showing love that we can live the peaceful,stressfree,wonderful life we always dream of.

 

Show a little love today,put a smile on a child's face,lend a helping hand when needed,be slow to criticise,infact,smile at those who persecute you.

 

Love's so cheap to give so dont u find it ironical that LOVE is all we need?

TRUTH

It’s alarming the way we’ve taken the truth for granted, we’r more at home speaking falsities and distorting accurate facts than speaking the truth.

Telling lies has become the norm and even the IN-thing to do; we tend to tell lies in most situations we find ourselves even when it’s not necessary (I’m not justifying ay kind of lie tho’).

We tell lies to cover up mistakes

We tell lies to make friends feel good

We tell lies to save our necks

We tell lies to fool people

We tell lies to make ourselves feel good

We tell lies to get our way

We tell lies for a million reasons and it just goes to prove how fickle our Christian faith really is.

Personally, I believe lying is the easiest sin to commit because it’s so effortless and all you suffer is just an initial pang of guilt (Retribution might come later if you are found out eventually).
As Christians, lies are forbidden because it automatically makes you the son of the devil. John 8:44; God is just & true in all His ways Psalm 33:4.

The act of telling lies is also a key problem in Nigeria as a whole, our leaders are a bunch of unrepentant liars and it’s a major detriment to our progress as a nation because no foundation based on lies shall stand the test of time.

In the US & UK, there has been different scandals involving presidents (Watergate, Clinton’s sex scandal, Blair’s lies about nuclear weapons in Iraq etc)but what stands out is the fact that all these leaders came out to tell the truth and apologize to their citizens even in the face of adversity. That is a strong reason these men are still called GREAT men today and the countries remain world powers, they know the importance of truthfulness and everybody is accountable for a little lie told.

Let’s cultivate the habit of telling the truth at all times despite the consequences because it makes us conscious of what we do and more importantly IT SETS US FREE John 8:32.

Nike is a successful banker, she is married to a wonderful man and has 2 kids but Nike is not happy. She’s having marital problems, though her husband loves her so much, she has problems reciprocating this love.


Lets take a look at the source of Nike's problems;
She didn’t meet her father till she was 15yrs old and haven’t spoken to him since then.
She was practically raised by a mother who (out of resentment) made her believe her father was good for nothing.

After years of therapy, her best friend advised her to settle things with her estranged father, she thought about it and decided to do it.
It was a wonderful re-union but unfortunately, the father had developed cancer and had just a few months to live, she was ready pay extra costs just so he could live but it was not to be, the father passed away just a few weeks after his daughter forgave him but what he told her will forever be in her heart “I wish we had all the time in the world”.

Life’s much more fun when you don’t have extra baggage clinging to you(yh,malice is an excess luggage).It could be satisfying to feel you are putting someone in his/her place by keeping your distance and all but the truth is both parties end up losing in the end.
You cant deny the feeling of euphoria you experience when someone apologizes and you actually forgive that person, it’s a wonderful feeling.
Learn to forgive because life’s easier that way, it is not always easy but what’s the alternative? Malice? Believe me, its harder.

Remember, we don’t have all the time in the world, lets make the best of the little time we all have.
